Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA)

Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA) logo

Veterans Agency is the single point of contact within the Ministry of Defence for providing information, help and advice on issues of concern to veterans and their families. It does this through its free Helpline, welfare service and it's website.

On 2 April 2007, the Armed Forces Personnel Administration Agency (AFPAA) merged with the Veterans Agency to form the Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA). The formation of SPVA will gradually lead to the provision of a fully integrated set of ‘through life’ personnel services to our serving and veterans community - where a single contact with the Agency will grant access to customer information and advice on pay, pensions, compensation payments, records of service and medal entitlement.
