Available image for  Christopher  WrenChristopher was a member of the Royal Irish Regiment (R IRISH) when killed. The brief circumstances of the death are as follows: Off duty.Killed by booby trap bomb attached to his car while travelling along Carrydarragh Road, Moneymore, County Londonderry. He was the fifth "Royal Irish" Soldier to be killed. He was married with one child and was off duty at the time of his death. A Pte in HQ Coy 8th Bn.

I could not have asked for a better father I only had seven short years with him but he will never be forgot nor will the scum that murdered him I only wish he could of gave me away at my wedding ,met his first grandson my son who I called Christopher after his grandad he will never meet, but will hear wonderful stories about him. we will meet again someday with all my love now and forever you shall never be forgotten always in my heart.xox
